| NATO was formed to promote the 1983 - 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbocoupes and Mercury Turbo Cougars, and to provide a friendly public forum where all Turbocoupe and Turbo Cougar owners can ask questions, receive reliable answers, share their experiences, and provide help and advice about these fine vehicles. It's also a great place to hang out with fellow enthusiasts, and over the years we have developed a reputation as one of the friendlier message boards on the Net. |
| If this organization, it's members, or their collected knowledge solves a problem for you, in most cases the value of that help and the assistance you received far exceeds the cost of a membership in the club. At only $20 US per year, the cost is a bargain compared to the plethora of information and the personal assistance you'll receive from other club members for repairs or modifications to your Turbocoupe. So if you find NATO and it's members valuable and helpful, please join, and become an official member. Otherwise a one-time donation is a fine way to show your support and to help insure that we'll be here whenever needed. Official Members receive the irregular NATO Newsletter which always contains great new tech articles, as well as other, member-exclusive content and access to all future, developing services. |
| Note that dues and merchandise monies are used primarily to fund the web site and bandwidth expenses in order to insure the organization's future. A minimal amount of resources are used for club promotion but Club Officers and Board Members are unpaid volunteer positions and receive no compensation; we're in it for the love of the car. Finally, all expenses must be approved by two Board Members to be club funded. |
| PayPal, Credit Cards (via PayPal), personal checks, and money orders are all acceptable forms of payment for membership dues. For easy, no-forget renewals each year, may we suggest a PayPal membership, since it will automatically renew annually until you decide to cancel. |
